Jose R. Aponte Amador serves as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) of MCS Healthcare Holdings, LLC. He is responsible for overseeing the company’s investments, risk management and tax strategy. Since 2022, he is a Director of the MCS Healthcare Holdings, LLC’s board.

Previously, he served as Chief Financial Officer of MCS Advantage, Inc. (MCS’s subsidiary). He joined the company in 2004 as Assistant Vice President of Finance.

With over 20 years of experience in the life and health insurance industry, he began his journey into the industry while he served as Audit Manager for the international auditing and tax firm KPMG LLP. He conducted a significant number of audits to different companies, including MCS and its subsidiaries. He also worked as an accountant for Energy Corporation in New Orleans.

Committed to the community, Aponte sits on the Board of Trustees of the American Red Cross, a non-profit entity dedicated to preventing and alleviate human suffering in the face of emergencies.

Aponte Amador holds a bachelor's degree in Management with a major in Accounting from A.B Freeman Business School of Tulane University. He is a Certified Public Accountant since 1999.
